Precision position sensor

Our strategic partner Precilabs has a product portfolio of precision position sensors for industrial applications. These sensors are based on a high speed image sensor using patented technologies for position computation. For the past years we have been helping Precilabs build their technology by developing hardware, firmware, software and characterization environments. For the first proof of concept demonstrations we used discrete elements (imager, microcontroller, etc), then we moved to a custom ASIC to fulfil the end-user needs regarding measurement rate, accuracy, thermal stability, power dissipation and volume production price.

Applications of the technology range from motor feedback systems to precision linear, rotary and 6D stages.
