Magnetic Rope Tester

Together with our partner Matron Rope & Wire Rope Engineering Ltd. we developed a magnetic rope tester device, which enables real time, in situ analysis of steel ropes. The device is capable of measuring long ropes (more than 5-10 km) at very high resolution. The data acquisition with several channels is challenging not only during measurement in real-time operations but later in the reporting phase when big data like computations are performed.
